Every build on this site passes the same bench before the download button lights up. This page is the bench, published so you can hold us to it.
Step 1: File verification
We check the package identity (com.pirlotv.app) and the exact 25 KB file size of the app, audit what it asks of the phone, and confirm the file is the build we describe. A build that fails any check is never published.
Step 2: Real phones
We install on five handsets: a Samsung Galaxy A55 on Android 15, a Google Pixel 8 on Android 16, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro on Android 14, an Infinix Note 40 Pro on Android 14, and a Samsung Galaxy A13 on Android 12. The A13's job is honesty: it shows us where the floor is for older hardware, and we report the floor rather than hiding it.
Step 3: Match evenings, watched properly
Streaming verdicts are earned live. We watch full evenings through the agenda, European nights, Liga MX weekends, an NBA slate, a grand prix and a fight card, switching channel links as the audience would and noting where depth in the link list saved the evening and where it did not.
Step 4: Connection and data logging
We watch on strong and weak connections, log the data a match actually consumes, and test the fixes our guides recommend. Performance notes here come from those logs, not from promises.
About ratings
The app is new and has no store rating to quote, so this site publishes no star rating for Pirlo TV, here or in our data. What we publish instead is the verdict from the bench above, in words, where we can be held to it.
